'The Yellow Wallpaper' - Charlotte Perkins Stetson

Well, now… it has been awhile since I last released a narration, hasn’t it my dears? I had family visiting and took a short holiday to Prague; but I return to you now, with a tale of captivity, madness, and the women inside the walls. This is a story I’ve wanted to read for a while now, a piece that was highly illustrative of the 19th century attitudes towards women’s health in both physical and mental attributes. While not as thrilling as some other tales I’ve read, it’s certainly an unsettling piece and I greatly enjoyed playing this character.
