'The Mortal Immortal' - Mary Shelley

A bittersweet tale of the pains of immortality, alchemy, and love found and lost. Do I even need to introduce the author? Mary Shelley is easily one of the most influential writers in the history of science fiction, as well as literature as a whole. I stumbled across this story, and decided this short story was a good fit for the next installment in this month of horror. Enjoy, my lovelies. And prepare for something new to sink your teeth into this Halloween… Support me on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/StephanieSwanQuills Casting Call Club: https://www.castingcall.club/m/StephanieSwanQuills Follow Me: YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/user/StephanieSwanQuill Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/StephanieSwanQuills Tumblr: http://stephanieswanquills.tumblr.com/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/StephSwanQuills Instagram: https://instagram.com/stephanieswanquills/ Soundcloud: https://soundcloud.com/stephanieswanquills ‘The Mortal Immortal’ – Mary Shelley https://americanliterature.com/author/mary-shelley/short-story/the-mortal-immortal Music: CO.AG Music: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCcavSftXHgxLBWwLDm_bNvA/featured Kevin MacLeod: http://incompetech.com/ Myuuji: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCiSKnkKCKAQVxMUWpZQobuQ Images: https://www.benzinga.com/general/psychology/15/03/5335348/the-most-expensive-business-book-sells-for-35-000 https://www.pinterest.co.uk/pin/583145851719987299/ https://www.flickr.com/photos/35463710@N06/4170192624 http://www.telegraph.co.uk/gardening/gardens-to-visit/international-garden-photographer-of-the-year-winners/ http://www.ajosephproject.com/wp-content/uploads/pagespics/ https://media.pallada.org/edit?keyword=Old%20Landscapes&title=Forest%20Trees%20Creepy%20Nature%20Landscape%20Misty%20Lonely%20Old%20Man%20Road&image=https://unique-landscape.com/resources/assets/upload/2017/2/forest-trees-creepy-nature-landscape-misty-lonely-old-man-road.jpg Legal Stuff: All imagery and sound, not created by StephanieSwanQuills is licensed under Creative Commons 1.0 http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/1.0/
