The biggest thing that is usually not discussed in SW is taxes! Doing your taxes as a SWer is important as you don’t want it to sneak up on you.

Websites such as AVN stars, Onlyfans, and most camming sites will automatically make you sign tax forms upon registration. Taxes are usually to be filed after making 5k+, but this may vary based on the website. This is typically a 1099 form where you represent yourself as a freelancer.

Payment processors such as PayPal will require you to file taxes if you end up using their business account option.
