I don't often work on illustrations with this many different elements, so this one felt a little intimidating. Progress was slower than I'd hoped, so I decided to leave it as it was for a while and come back to it later with fresh eyes. Today I finally revisited it and refined the lighting, and now it looks exactly the way I wanted it to.
