Ah, I was wondering why the details of this image feel so overwhelming to look at when I first saw it, and then a realization struck me a bit later - it's because she's a bit brighter than in her origin, which makes the contrasts pop off stronger between the stripes and the light parts of the fur. I guess that's your relatively recent method of drawing bright/white parts showing right here. I just hope others will adore this picture just as much as I do <3

Yeah it's actually super hard to replicate traditional colors exactly when it's been so long between pieces and with a monitor as reference! I also have more marker choices now to make more soft dradual shading. She also seems a bit brighter because I now use colored ink for lines with traditional color instead of all black lines, I think this may be the biggest difference! :)

I have little notes for piece ideas or potential titles and pulled the title from that. I feel like maybe I heard that in a show or something? (some of these notes/ideas are years old) Titling new art is perpetually a struggle for me. XD
