Happy upcoming new year, everyone! This has been such a busy, stressful, but also successful year for me. I took on more work via Menagerie and the speed I've moved through my commission waitlist has suffered, but I'm honestly feeling so much better about creating art and I no longer feel the onset of burnout. I get to decide what to draw more often, and I'm so glad I'll be on Menagerie again in 2026! Hoping I can maybe find a bit more balance with keeping the queue more under control... But I feel good. My gratitude to those who have been patient with the wait! I don't take payment before I'm almost ready to start work on comms but I still feel guilty for the wait times.

As much as I enjoy getting more of your wonderful work I always very much see you creating any kind of art and especially awesome if you have fun with drawing it as well! Looking forward to the next menagerie installment and I'm sure you will be able to balance things more to your liking. Happy new year as well <3

Well, it's natural to feel bad/guilty for anything that's not going on pace, even when it DOESN'T involve other people. I know from experience with my own projects and how bad I feel whenever I'm falling behind even though there's nobody waiting on it, heh. But I for one am just happy to be seeing a lot of your art that you've made throughout the year because it is just nice to witness all the variety. And I'm very glad to hear that you actually enjoy what you do, that seems to be very difficult to still have fun with creative work after they turned into a job.
