Watch/react to Star Trek Strange New Worlds while you wait for Dr. Who (hint, hint). Lol

It's a Ghost.

The cartoon coming out of the movie screen looks so creepy and so good!

To answer your question: no, not really. Disney money has just ruined it; It's now tailored to American audiences, and yes that isn't a compliment. The writing has been dog-awful since the Whittaker era, which took a lot of the gloss of the first female incarnation. Gatwa is a great actor shoehorned into a role that doesn't suit him because of 'agendas', 🙄 which is ironic because having a sexually ambiguous Doctor would have worked gangbusters in the 80's/90's. Seeing as The Mouse is footing the bill, I would have loved to see Eddie Murphy or Jordan Peele take a crack at it, just for the Hail Mary of it and to ramp up the comedy angle. As it is, the show runners have run out of ideas; NuWho (ironic since it's 20 years old) is now boring, stale and in desperate need of a hiatus for a few years, which of course won't happen as it will be whipped like a rented mule.
