The version was whatever was on Britbox, and it's available in the US.

So is Blackadder starting next week?

BazT47

Thank you for the Red Dwarf journey. I have loved every second. Feel free to join my FB group. Red Dwarf - Funniest Quotes. We would love to have you and see you posting your favourite quotes! :)

Omg already!! What is time! I'm gonna to have to jump straight to this one, shielding my eyes from the comments for fear of commentary spoilers. Eeeeeeh!

Pocket Trumpeter

I'm a bit behind on the RD reactions so not watching this yet but just wanted to say congrats and thank you to you both for so much entertainment over the last year or so with these reactions.

Mike Connaghan

Have you seen 2001: A Space Odyssey? Another classic that is going to be referenced forever, or until we all die, so maybe a week.

Katy Robinson

It was great rewatching this whole show with you. Looking forward to whatever comes next :D

A fantastic first and third act, with a middle that sort of drags on far too long. I really wish that the cat race had been recurring antagonists in the whole series; Rodon is a fantastic villain (Ray Fearon is a classically trained actor, and it shows), and the 30 year wait to have the religion of Cloister fleshed out more is finally paid off, mostly. Spinoff, Naylor? Rimmer's holoevolution has been great to watch over the years and 'Super Ace' is just chef's kiss writing. The visual gags are on the same level; that cat flap entrance will never get old. Gripes? Cat being Rodon's brother feels like a throwaway add on (major Worf/Kurn vibes if they had stuck the writing), the desert FX looked S7 bad and the sun/moon conversation just felt like it was pandering to an American audience. So is this it? The final episode? I hope not. There's still life in the old Dwarf yet. ❤️

THE FINAL SALUTE!!!!! (for now?)

I’ve really enjoyed re-watching the whole of Red Dwarf along with you. It was great seeing episodes I hadn’t seen in years but from a new perspective. ❤️

Troy Convers

The one time that the serious S1 theme tune would have worked...

Raven Stromdans

I loved being on this journey with you two. Getting to relive my own journey with the Boys from the Dwarf through your fresh eyes was an extraordinary gift and I would not have missed this for the world. I know there's still lots of behind the scenes stuff, but knowing that this is likely where the journey officially ends really hits a poignant note for me (admittedly, I may be a little extra emotionally raw due to the state of ~waves generally~ everything). I'm glad to have been here with you from beginning to the (current) end of Red Dwarf and I'll be holding out hope that the Boys may have at least one more in them for us. And if they don't...well, we'll always have fun, fun, fun as we ride off in Starbug into the sun, sun sun. Me and Mr. Flibble will be here, smoking kippers till you come around for breakfast. ~ridiculous, hand-wavy, way too long salute~ Kat. Paula. It's been an honour.

ahector

Ah I am feeling the same & find the way you said it very sweet.

Nolan

Glory be, we've finally reached The Promised Land.

GillyBean

loved this whole journey with you!! gonna stick around to see whats next :D <3

It's been so much fun watching this show with you! I'm still hoping there'll be more episodes, but if this is where Red Dwarf ends, it's a good place to end it, back where it started. My favourite scene is the moonlight scene between Lister and Rimmer and fun fact - that was the very first scene they filmed!

Sebastian Bodine

This movie was better than it should've been. I still hold onto that moonlight metaphor from Lister. Rare to find such well-executed sentimentality these days.

SnabbKassa

Rimmer finally got his lucky showbiz break to become a god. He didn't need the QuagAArs to get a new body. It's been a great ride watching all your reactions to RD. I expect they will leave it there instead of doing any more, because this was movie length. 🫡 "I'm NOT the messiah, now SMEG OFF"

Mark Ten

I remember the original broadcast of Series 1 positive that there would never be a series 2... yet less 20+! The show that would not/could not die.

Troy Convers

Rodon feels more like a Goa'uld System Lord than anything Klingon, especially with the 'one true god' narrative.

Frank Murphy

Well done doing it all. I must have watched red dwarf like 20 times, so more than once is a must, n they are very rewatchable, especially if you like certain episodes particularly

Frank Murphy

Don't forget there's an AA advert to add to your reaction videos as well as can't smeg won't smeg, could also do comedy connections from red dwarf night if you like to know about how it got made or nearly didn't get made at all.

Troy Convers

If you Gals have never seen 2001, I would pay good money to see that. It's a fucking mind bender.

Absent With Concept

I enjoy this episode more every time I watch it. First half is decent, but the second half is up there with the best written stuff in the history of the whole show I think. I love the bits with Rimmer and Lister in the cockpit, but especially when Cat is laying into Rimmer for being dead and just oversteps the mark - Lister's very genuine "back the smeg off, ok?" to Cat is my favourite line in the episode.

Chris K

I can't believe Rob Grant passed away straight after his return to the franchise was announced :(

Stephen Phillips

Life complete I suppose, he came full circle, still sad to lose him 😢

Chris K

I think your version is slightly different from the BBC iPlayer version. It was totally fine until Holly showed up, then it went completely wrong.
