12.5 seconds in before the first "Poor Harry" -- might be a record. I love how we all assume something terrible is happening to him right when he appears onscreen. 😄 But hey, he got to spend time with his girlfriend. It might be an alt timeline, but at least it was really her and not some delusion or fabrication.

it's funny, i felt this episode was boring and I liked last week's better (despite cringe Nelix and spaceship's "romantic" rival}. I think I would've liked this episode better if Harry seriously considered staying. Afterall, he may have been better help at Star Fleet organizing an effort to help Voyager, and odd spacetime accident reproduction, gts (grandtheft spcehip) got someone killed. What was the urgancy to steal a shuttle? Couldn't he have resigned from Star Fleet gotten another shuttle without risking getting caught and sent to prison/killed? Ive gone on enough, tbh glad other's enjoyed it.

A decent episode and premise, weighed down by the boat anchor of dullness that is Harry Kim. That's why this post has only three replies; not because of the reaction, but because of Harry.

I think this is a decent episode. I didn’t care much for the technobabble alien and his nonsense explanation of what happened to Kim. But I am not sure how else they could have gotten Kim into the situation? Thankfully it didn’t take up too much of the plot. Liked seeing the alternate Tom Paris. I would say pretty middle of the road for this one. I think it needed to involve more of the cast somehow. Much better than Elogium anyway!

BTW - That big-ass door they flew through was a rehashed scene of the Enterprise-D escaping the Dyson Sphere in "Relics", the TNG episode with Scotty
