Since you ask, my best companion is Sarah Jane Smith. But then I'm an old-school Classic Who fan.

Arek Schneyer

good episode for the most part! I enjoyed all the Orwell references myself, and as always there was some great acting.

Colin 3of5

One of these days I'm going to read 1984

Bill

Clara leaving was when it went back to "The Doctor Show!" which I prefer, but *shrug* Like what you like.

Bill

Best batch? Hrm... Jamie, Sarah Jane (natch), Zoe, Mickey, Donna, Amy, Nardole, Bill, Graham. With honorable mentions to the Brigadier, Jo, and Sgt Benton.

Sufyaan Kazi

Good ending to the trio, nice if then to experiment with the three writers on this. Capaldis' tatty grey jacket was great in this, came very close to the red velvet one from Heaven Sent.

Christian Rennie

lol, Paula a choco snack at a dif time is just rescheduling your dessert to fit in with your time.

Amy Chlebus

My favorite companions are Jamie McCrimmen, Joe Grant/Jones, Sarah Jane Smith, Donna Noble and Bill Potts. 😁❤❤

Mark Ten

Part of what made the Monks so creepy is the gorgeous robes they wore over their horrible features.

Jade Ellis

Sarah Jane, Ace, Benny, Amy & 1 future companion.

Nicole Mazza

Oooh, can't wait for this! I know a lot of people didn't like it (at least back when it aired), but it was actually my fave of the trilogy -- but then I've always been easy for a dystopian story (bonus: with everyone in the same jumpsuits/coveralls). <3

Nicole Mazza

As for 'best batch' of companions, it can change for me depending on the day/mood. Martha is always my absolute fave, so she's definitely in there. Otherwise, I'd say Liz Shaw, Barbara, Zoe, Leela, the Romanas, Nyssa, and Ace (with bonus K-9)! That's a pretty big group, but they're my faves -- if I had to narrow it down to three, I'd say Martha, Liz Shaw, and Ace. <3

Firefly24601

One of my favorite things is wondering how they were able to manufacture coveralls for (presumably) everyone in the world in 6 months or less! :D

Lloyd B

Favorite companions for me would be: Jamie for his bravery and loyalty Sarah Jane for quick wit and friendship Leela and Ace both for their badass attitude (and like Jamie, handy in a fight) Donna for fun and mateship (that’s “A mate”, not “TO mate” of course!)

Nicole Mazza

I know, right?! I mean, did the Dickies factories just TAKE OVER THE WORLD!? LOL

Amanda Logsdon

I haven't watch this season all the way through in a long while, i didnt really like it the first go around, but Bill is really starting to grow on me. As for favorite companions; Donna, Clara, ***, and sarah jane.

DarkAshtar

Honestly, a small part of me figured because Bill's a lesbian the chances of her passing on her DNA link to the monks would be a way out. I mean I just thought if they realized Bill would not have genetic children they'd realize it'd only be a single generation of followers.

Joe

It was a frustrating to watch this reaction because there was an unusual amount of commentary by Paula and Katrina right over the dialog. So much of Dr Who dialog has bits that end up mattering later and I had not seen this episode before. But even as multiple characters were speaking about key plot points, the commentary kept right on going over it. I kept having to stop the video and go back and try to listen to what the characters were saying.
