Probably. At this point she's the same as an abusive partner that becomes "miserable" once their victim finally escapes. She's earned no sympathy at all at this point. I won't speak about her later just yet though.

There is always a small part of me that feels sorry for Jasper but it is VERY small. The consequences of her actions are finally coming for her but boy oh boy do I believe it is so so deserved. - Kat

She is a prisoner in the role her society cast her in. Incapable of seeing beyond herself as more than a function for the diamonds.

There is an argument to be made about the problem of Jasper as the one and only "irredeemable" gem in the show. Like, there's her and Kevin and Marty, two extremely minor characters. I've heard from women who felt the show failed them, because they have been dismissed as big, muscular, angry and unfeminine and the way they are represented in the show is pretty much limited to Jasper, who's presented as one of the extremely few completely unsympathetic characters who never gets humanized. So I'm sorry about that. But within the context of the story, no, I'm surprised to hear even one person feels sorry for her.
