Javascript and JDK v22 issue (Patreon)

Thanks to a patron’s report, I discovered that there is an incompatibility with Batoto (and its mirror websites too) and JDK v22 or higher, probably due to the fact that to decrypt the links of these websites the program needs to execute Javascript code. There is likely some new feature introduced in the JS engine on JDK 22 that breaks the support.

While I figure out how to address the issue, if you encounter this problem please note that you can resolve it immediately by simply uninstalling JDK 22 and installing version 21, which is still freely downloadable from the official Oracle website at https://www.oracle.com/it/java/technologies/downloads/#java21

UPDATE: It seems to be an incompatibility between Graal and the new JDK because I checked the code and there are no errors. Similarly, no exceptions are generated by Java, and the interface doesn’t freeze either; it just seems to hang indefinitely. I hope they will fix it soon with an update. In the meantime, do not update your JDK and stay with version 21 if you want to use those websites that require JS code interpretation, which, after careful analysis, I have found to be the following:
