Nightly build (2021-05-14) (Patreon)

Attached to this post you can find the latest nightly build available!

Important notes about nightly versions:

Nightly builds are neither fully tested nor complete: they may therefore have numerous bugs or functions that are not fully functional or totally missing. This sometime could cause data loss or corruption in the download process, so it is always not recommended to use them but rather wait for public releases. The only reason for their existence is for users who want to test new things as soon as possible and who are aware of the risks.However I will always try to release nightly versions as stable as possible in order to limit the risks.

You have to put the attached file inside the same folder of the public release of Manga Downloader (since it still need the same libraries) before to launch it or it will give error at startup.

Nightly versions do not receive automatic updates (at least until I find an efficient way to have a separate channel for them)

Nightly versions require the Patreon account to be linked to the program

Do not share these nightly versions: they can harm users who are unaware of the risks! And then, if you share them, you lose one of the exclusivities of your subscription.

Of course you can comment here below for any questions or for reporting any bugs, I will try to help you if possible and this also will help to fix program's issues as soon as possible 🤣

The program isn't recognizing me as an active patron after linking my account. I've tried unlinking and relinking my account and also linking my account then restarting the program, neither worked. Anything else I can try on my end?

What error it shows you? That you're not an active member or that it can not check your status at all?

Sorry, my fault, I put the wrong Patreon campaign ID in the nightly version (I used another to test because I'm not a patron here xD). Now it should be fixed (I attached a v2 to the main post), let me know if it works for you too ;)

I'm still getting the same error even with the updated nightly actually. Also to clarify from earlier, it says that I'm not an active member, not that it can't check my status at all. Sorry for getting back so late on that lmao

Please could you test the just attached v3 and send me or paste here the content of the jvm_log.txt file after you got the error message? The v3 should print in the log the server response, so that I can understand if it's an error of the program while managing data or anything else, thank you ;) P.s.: it's 2am here in Italy and I'm about to go to sleep, so probably you won't get an answer until tomorrow, I'm sorry for this issue but I promise I'll work on it as first thing tomorrow morning 😅

Thank you for your patience, well, at least it's not a data management issue since you're getting no data at all 😅 The server replied with a 401 error that means it can not identify your access token. Please try again with the v4 just attached to the main post. You need to unlink your account and link it again from the Extra menu, after that in the jvm_log.txt file you'll find a "Patreon response" line with the reply JSON code from Patreon. I want to understand if you can get the access token correctly or not

Don't worry and thank you very much for your help in debugging this new feature, now I have something to test and work with 😉 In the meantime I attached to the first post a special nightly version which does not require a linked Patreon account, so that in the meanwhile you can still try the improvements and news of the v51. It's the least I can do to thank you for your support 😀
