v62 just released! (Patreon)

The new v62 has now been released publicly for everyone!

As usual I'll wait a couple of weeks to fix any new bug that might come out following the public release, so please don't expect any nighty build soon. Of course, if no new bug come out, then I'll begin the works for the next version by releasing new nightly builds as soon as they are ready and sharing the changelog with all of you as we go.

I also take this opportunity to thank you again for all your support you give me here on Patreon, without you I would certainly have lost interest in this project a long time ago.

I hope you will appreciate this new version, I will work to continue to keep the program updated and working over time!

I just want to mention that any Mangapark bookmark gives an error when checking for new chapters & when I open the manga if times out. Has this been reported already, is it a continuation of the mangapark v5.2 fix, or should I put in a new issue? Before v62, it just gave an error when trying to download the chapter. Now, it won't even tell me how many chapters there are.

Just tested, it seems to be totally broken again. I'll try to fix this and release a quick update today

The support for MangaPark should be fixed in the v62.1 just released 👍

Yeah I guess it's because I had to rewrite the support for this framework from scratch this morning because they changed the API of their website and therefore old data is no longer recognized by the program, sorry

will you be adding the English Lezhin website at some point? I can't find any downloader for it :(

If you mean https://www.lezhinus.com/en yes, I've already been working on it for about a week, unfortunately despite having reached the point of being able to obtain the list of chapters and pages, the pages links don't seem to work because they require additional keys in their URL, without them the server won't allow you to download them (you get an error). So it will take quite a bit of time, I have to study the source code of the site and deobfuscate the javascript functions it uses to generate those keys in order to be able to reproduce the calls made by the web browser to get them, it has proven to be more difficult than I thought, it will be a good challenge

A preliminary support is now available in the nightly builds. I still have to study the function they use to decrypt scrambled images, but fortunately not all chapters are encrypted, in fact most of ones I tested were not 👍
