Something a bit different here...

I made a recreation of Prince's The Beautiful Ones for my Oberheim softsynth shootout a couple of years ago. I've had quite few requests to demo how I did it so have had something like this in the back of my mind for a while

This week I've been getting promo emails from Eventide about their new Clockworks bundle - which had the FX I used to make it in the first place. It gave me a nudge to put this together.

Hopefully Eventide will see it and decide I'm worthy of a free H9000!!! We can only dream :)

How to recreate Prince's 80's Drums with Eventide CLOCKWORKS plugins

#eventideaudio #clockworks #plugins A look at recreating those famous Prince Drum sounds using the @Eventide Audio harmonisers and flanger in the Clockworks Bundle. I used them on a track I wrote for a soft synth shootout a couple of years ago, but as they've released them as a separate bundle I thought it might be interesting to show how I used them. All the cool kids, awesome dudes, synth lovers and general nice guys (and gals) go here :)... ► Patreon: https://patreon.com/starskycarr Other places you’ll find me: ►ClubbingTV From the Studio: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLYIYEC4M53KQs4FeYpCY51sHxoK2l2Z0O ► Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/starskycarr ► Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/starskycarr ► Twitter: http://www.twitter.com/starskycarr ► Bandcamp https://starskycarr.bandcamp.com/releases 0:00 intro 1:51 The Samples 2:51 Overview 4:13 Kick 6:47 Rimshots 11:06 Snare 12:06 Crash 12:28 Shaker 12:40 Toms 15:15 All Together
