Snowbound is coming along. Snow depth works on the player and objects, meaning the snow accumulates on objects and ground separately. When the player walks over an object the snow falls off the object but stays on the ground. The player sinks into the snow and slows down the deeper it gets. By depth:30 many objects can't even be seen anymore. The snow trails also fade out and get filled in as snow accumulates. All the plants now also have grow timers on them. Here's images showing the differences:

I also spent a few days trying to add a snow-shovel. You could clear paths of snow to walk full speed but every approach I tried failed because of my poor code design. The short explanation is snow can be 1~30 depth but the path is always 1 depth. Every step the player takes converts snow into path halfway through the animation. This causes the player to stutter, walking the slowest speed at first, then full speed halfway through. Also, the animation would jump from deep snow to shallow, looking ridiculous. After days of trying hacks and workarounds, I was just getting more and more glitches, and realized the only correct solution would be to actually draw individual snow depth layers for every tile of art (instead of having the computer draw the snow), and convert every tile from an array into a code object (saving becomes much more complicated to code) After considering it for awhile, I realized no one is playing this game for realistic snow-pathing... It's supposed to be an Adult game! So, I decided to just set a world snow depth which makes everything draw and play smoothly... and get onto drawing the adult art in February.
