Lupin Village Progressing (Patreon)

After a month or so of work, I've finally got a working sex-event! No, the game isn't even close to playable, but it finally feels like I'm making progress. There's so much behind the scenes stuff: map and character design, story and dialogue progression, hundreds of layers of art... all needing to be done before I can even see it if comes together well. The map is also expanding as I develop story. The main idea will be: Harlot gets lost on a strange island and needs to find her way home by helping the locals. unfortunately... well, it is a porn game... Anyways, here's an image of Lupin town so far:

The important decision I made (which I might regret later) is Harlot is alone on this adventure. This has two effects. I don't need to write story, dialogue, spells, sex-events, and check for other party members on every event. But, it also means Harlot cannot leave Lupin until she defeats the boss. The story is written sequentially, and there needs to be a reason for Harlot to keep going. If she can go home at any time, it doesn't make sense... So, it'll be kinda like a mini-adventure that doesn't interact with the regular game. However, once she beats the boss, I can see it being logical for her to visit Lupin again, perhaps with the other women. So, hopefully players don't mind this approach.

Next month, I optimistically expect to get the Blowjob and Vaginal events working, and start coding in the sequential events to progress through the town. Wish me luck!
