This week was quite productive. Not much to show unfortunately... but, at least there's no images so the post can stay public.

Firstly, I converted all the drawImage() events that require animation into classes to make the code more readable and maintainable. I know most people don't understand or care about code... and the ones who do, will laugh at my sad coding attempts... but I think it's fun, so will show it here. 1st: is the Animation class structure which holds a bunch of variables and 2 basic functions. 2nd: I put some items I want to animate into the class. 3rd: is a function that combines the Image file (img), Animation Class (cls), and whether it moves slightly horizontally or vertically while idle (type).4th: is the difference in code. Keep in mind I'll have over 100 images that need to be controlled once I'm finished the woman. The NEW code is concise, with only 4 items I need to write each time. The OLD code has 12 highly repetitive items I need to write each time.

So, what does any of this mean? Welp, I now have the woman "breathing" while idle. It needs some work but she slightly moves in 3 parts: Her head, chest, and legs are separate sections that move independently to sublty look like she's breathing.

I also am converting all the code over to mouse-interaction instead of pressing 1~7 keys to undress. So, the player can mouse-over her and depending on the state of clothing, grab-points will appear. The player can hold the mouse down and the clothing will remove at 3 frames a second. Pieces can be put back on in a similar manner.

This week, I'll be adding missing animations (Snowsuit Top and Bottom, Mask, Boots, Bra/Undershirt...) and converting them all to mouse-over events. Then, I'll add in the nudity parts and by Feb 2 there will be a Patrons-only playable version on Newgrounds with proper undressing. Next month, I'll start adding in actual dialogue, so she will respond properly to you and... maybe... even get to her asking you to do quests to make her happy and want to undress. Oh yeah I also need to add facial expressions!

Ha! Just as I finished this post, I looked towards the window. Apparently, it's been snowing for a while, and right now outside is like a perfect real-life representation of the SnowBound game:

Until next week!
