Lol truuuuuue, basically every human in the world who does not have a Unique skill would challenge the labyrinth if Masayuki tells them to! It is quite the devious idea from Rimuru

Daniel Meissner

In the novels, Rimuru internally comments that even Gazel, who has Hero Haki of his own, was no match for Elmesia's Haki. She is a league above the Hero King. After he appoints Gobta to the Elite Four, Rimuru thinks to himself that Gobta is perfect for the role because if he loses a fight they could simply say "Kukuku this is the disgrace of the Elite Four, the weakest" as an excuse and then have the real members (Benimaru, Shion, and Diablo) show their strength LMAO poor Gobta but I can't say it is inaccurate

I love your enthusiasm. Btw, I heard "Goata" today, too. I had forgotten how the dilemma of this battle was resolved and purposely didn't remind myself. Gobta wasn't used to his new strength and couldn't control it (that much I did remember). ........ Mjollmile said he heard there was a secret committee behind the Council (of the West). We have seen such a group already. It's funny, Elmesia said that probably someone was creating the problem so they could swoop in to offer to solve it and have Tempest owe them. Right after she swooped in and saved Tempest. If she hadn't already stated her desired payment, she would have done the same thing. Rimuru, in Elmesia, sees someone who's a kindred spirit in ways that Gazel isn't. She also recognized Diablo for his true identity. Rimuru seemed both surprised and unperturbed by that. When he said he'd take responsibility for any rampage Diablo might contemplate, he seemed to be saying he'd talk him out of it. But what does Rimuru intend to do if he does? Is Elmesia thinking that Rimuru will overpower Diablo? Can he? Diablo seems happy that his master has such control over him. But the real issue with Diablo isn't what Rimuru would do if Diablo goes crazy; it's what Diablo would do if something happens to Rimuru--not to mention what any number of other people would do. ......... As for Masayuki, what has Yuuki been doing for him if he's so relieved by Rimuru letting him talk it out? Because that's basically what he did. Masayuki has been dragged into dangerous situations and embarrassing situations, and getting a job of sorts and Japanese food and toilets seemed to have made him very happy. Nice to have a new ally!

I absolutely love the midnight conference between Rimuru, Gazel and Elmesia. It is basically just a stage for Elmesia to flex on. She flexes her experience and prowess as a ruler dissecting the enemies plan for us, she flexes her wealth just casually carrying around 1000 gold coins, and she flexes her power with a Hero Haki that is far stronger than Galzel's. Not only that, but she identifies who Diablo really is and pressures Rimuru about him. We had already been introduced to Elmesia previously, but in this scene we see her for who she truly is! She is in a room with an incredibly powerful Demon Lord (within his own domain) and the Hero King of the Dwarven Kingdom that has been a powerhouse for a millennia and yet SHE is the main character!

I hadn't thought of it that way, but it really WAS like the Holy Trinity of flexes. Elmesia just takes over the room (even without the aura). Rimuru did a better job of flexing back to her than the more experienced Gazel, who practically sunk into the landscape in comparison. Even Diablo outdid Gazel, he spoke directly to Elmesia, and he initiated it. He sounded neither impertinent nor subservient.

Very true! Though to be fair, Diablo would never be impressed or phased by literally anyone other than Rimuru lmao

I just had to interject this warning ⚠️. Over on YouTube, for years now, really, there have been videos about Tensura (and plenty of other anime and manga and light novels, too, but I am today triggered by a Tensura video), that contain spoilers in the title or thumbnail. Usually they are vague, or you can stop looking before you observe the crucial information. Or it doesn't mean much to the anime-only viewers, or at worst only spoils a part of the plot. Just now a new video popped up in my feed that really pissed me off. The spoiler (or potential spoiler; it's a theory) is stated in the first few words of the title with no obfuscation whatsoever. At this point in time, anime-only viewers wouldn't have had nearly enough information to even formulate the theory, much less have an opinion. And I, for one, resent anyone interfering with the fun of people coming up with this or similar theories on their own. It's not the ending. (No one knows that, even if they say they do because they read the web novel ending, because I hope and believe the ending will be different, maybe without sufficient evidence.) But it, to me, is one of the most important theories about the world that I would be dying to talk about in the right time and place. Not in a YouTube title. So irresponsible. But I guess he'll get a lot of views. Clickbait that delivers. So, I don't know how you would prevent yourself from seeing this if it pops up in your feed. I can only warn you. But please be cautious. End rant.

I am glad to hear it. I have been finding out that it's more possible to control one's YouTube feed than I had thought.
