Peak episode, that akane moment was amazing the whole convo felt beautiful.

I need someone to explain to me what Akane meant by "loophole." With the revelation that their father is still alive, we know that he is not the one who died in the married couple murder-suicide. So, we know that the common father that they share is NOT the father Himekawa grew up with. So what I take this to mean, is that Aqua just made a stupid mistake. For some reason, Aqua was acting on the assumption that the HUSBAND had to be the one that had an affair with Ai to conceive Aqua and Ruby, but in reality it must have been the WIFE who had an affair to conceive Himekawa. And this affair that the Himekawa's mother had just happened to be with Aqua and Ruby's father. Idk why Aqua was so convinced that the husband was the unfaithful one and completely disregarded the fact that the husband may not actually be Himekawa's biological father. Also the timeline doesn't really work right? Himekawa is 19, he said the murder-suicide happened when he was 5, so 14 years ago. Aqua is 16, so Himekawa's parents died when Aqua was 2, but Ai was killed when Aqua was 4 right? It just doesn't seem plausible that the guy who died 2 years prior had anything to do with Ai's murder. Is Aqua bad at math? Or is he assuming that they planned out Ai's murder years in advance? Or did he just not think about it at all? After saying all of this, I do see a couple places where Aqua makes a mistake, but I am not really seeing what I would consider a "loophole."

OH YEAH WAIT, AI LITERALLY HAD A PHONE CALL WITH THEIR FATHER LIKE RIGHT BEFORE SHE WAS MURDERED! That is how he knew their address! So yeah obviously it could never have been the husband in the murder-suicide. Glad I remembered that. Aqua is a big dummy, hopefully he realizes this and the hunt starts back up soon lol
