Tommy Transplant

Harry Chapin, if for no other reason then to address apostrophe abuse. It’s rampant in our time.

William

Isn't that the correct use of an apostrophe in "Cat's"?

William

"Cat Is In The Cradle",,?

Tommy Transplant

Is the cat in the cradle, and if so are they alone? Ambiguous at best. (Seriously, it's a great song. I spend way too much time wondering about the wrong things.)

Kevin Darling

See, this is a weird one because cat’s cradle is a string game and indicates a making a cradle for a cat but I was never sure if cats/cat’s in the cradle was a regional variation.

Tony Leukering

So long as there's just a single cat, yes. However, Tommy Transplant is right about apostrophes. In YT video titles, they're misused or, more often, omitted, such that I've been tongue-in-cheek wondering if YT charges content providers for each apostrophe! And this is true even for many of the news organizations which certainly OUGHT to have people that know punctuation rules. Of course, they don't, anymore. I'm sure the likes of Walter Cronkite and Harry Reasoner are spinning in their graves.

Kevin Darling

I’d like Welcome to the Machine because I’d love to know how you’d analyze the machine sound at the end. But that opening to Have A Cigar is pretty tricky too.

Newton Pritchett

Requesting “Please Please Please” by Sabrina whoever. I wanted to hate it because it’s everywhere but I think it’s actually a surprisingly interesting song

Romaji Amulo

Requesting again "Maze of Memories" by Stray Kids. It's one of the very few songs I'm aware of that changes between two unrelated tempi during the song

lostinthemasses

Still dying for Paranoid Android, my life will never be complete without a 12 Tone video on that masterpiece.

Scarlett De La Rosa

rip sugar we're goin down, you had a good run, really thought it would win eventually :(

Aeron Phillips

We gotta finally get Sugar We're Goin Down. Voting for it has been my purpose in life lmao

ADM_Sax

Cats in the cradle mustn’t be voted out

Joshua Clark

Cat's In the Cradle is my 1st choice. I won't cry about, and can chill if Have a Cigar is more popular as a choice though. I don't have any resonance for the other 2 options, but, I am positive 12Tone can show me amazing things to appreciate about them too

Thormation

Depends. Is he talking about how the cat is in the cradle, or is he talking about multiple cats, all of whom are in the cradle.

Thormation

Remember, if you can't decide, you can vote for multiple options.

Benji One Lung

I really want to hear 12tone talk about Patrick Stump's vocals... I'll keep voting!

ADM_Sax

Requesting Veronica by Elvis Costello. The in-depth instrumentation would be fun to look into.

Aeron Phillips

Could the clowns that KEEP voting for Pink Floyd chill out for one poll while those of us who want Sugar We're Goin Down to finally win can take their spot so we move on? We'll let you have it next month just GIVE us this.

Olaf

I would really love to see you talk about a Jim Croce song, I Got A Name or Time in a Bottle (or any other, they are all fantastic). They seem so simple and down-to-earth, but there is so much orchestration and buildup going on in what seems to be a simple guitar-and-singing-guy-sing. It just makes emotions flow, and I really wanna know what he does that makes it happen.
