I've been itching for an analysis of Superstition for years. 5 years ago, straight out of quite a traditional music degree, I had to play it from chord sheets and teach the harmonies to my choir and I couldn't for the life of me figure out how it could have a flat mediant when it sounded upbeat. I know now how different pop/soul theory is to classical, but it would be a fun trip back in time to have the song explained to me in full
