If you have been here long enough, you know about my Marshall Lee x Prince Gumball and how it ended up in production limbo... the 3 major events that escalate in how bad they are were: 1- Re-writing, not bad... it happens; 2- Budget got stolen, all the money I saved for it, gone, couldn't get it back, frustrating, but I kept moving forward; 3- The worst of the worst, the VA I wanted for Marshall (Plus, being the script editor) turned out to be a groomer. And that ended up killing whatever faith I had in the project.

I don't want it go to waste, but now I filled my plate with other stuff... Meet "stuff"

Here goes my proposal:

A) I downsize, shrink, minimize the Marshall x Gumball project, use what I have, add a little more stuff but that's it and getting it out of the way. And then focus all that energy and resources left into the Zuko x Sokka animation I want to make, filling all those blank spaces and possibly adding more... following the same workflow as my current OC project.

or

B) Everything stays as is, The Zuko x Sokka project stays small, all the blank spaces disappear for good, Marshall x Gumball stays in production limbo and life goes on...

Also, the people who joined the Premium tier when Marshall x Gumball was in active development in hopes of getting a cameo, we can work things out, a personalized loop animation. reach out with proof that you were on that tier if you want to redeem your animation.

Unable to vote even though I'm in a tier I should be able to vote in I say option B but would not be opposed to either

You should be able to vote now.

I think it's smart to downsize. A cameo would have been cool and have it fleshed out, but I think after so much time and so many events, it's better to let it go. And there can always be another project with gumlee!

Zenkai543

From what I recall you've got a lot of the Gumlee animation done already. Option A just seems to make the most sense.

Yeah, but then all the narrative stuff goes out of the window... shouldn't have started with the sex scenes, makes the stuff that will be skipped redundant... that's why I now start with the narrative part, then the sex stuff...

SomeNamelessDouche

when you've been working on something for this long it's always tempting to fall for the sunk-cost fallacy, but it's definitely healthier to downsize and cut your losses. it's not worth the stress.

Bro ima be honest. WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON IN THE SITUATION YOU’RE.

Between the possibility of undiagnosed ADHD, financial struggle (aided by the first point), and emotional turmoil... idk... but I keep going, because I refuse to give up that easily.

I was looking forward to the gumlee animation but if it's not going in the right direction then better to work with what you have. Looking forward to the zuko and sokka one :)

Gonna make the best I can with GumLee

It was smart to go with option A. Also can come back to it in future if you ever get more support n folks round to help ya. You own the pace u werk in. And also do whatchu wanna do whether it is taxing or not. Cus we all wanna do lots o’ the good shyt even if we don’t have the motivation all the time. We know ur werkin loads, but just know you got many a followin n beloved. Many others I seen in other comment sections sadly can’t afford or even have the ability to get access to the patreon, but just know they too, I’ve seen, really live the work ur doing. Keep up the great werk and do what u love dude
