Progress Report - 09/28/2026 (Patreon)

I'm going to release Avalon's first three chapters instead of the first four. This is a more ambitious endeavor than I anticipated. I want to show off what I'm working on so you all know exactly what you're supporting. Expect this to drop next month after Riam has time to put it all together. I've put a lot on his plate recently.

I played through Chapter One of Quean Bee. There is a lot of scenes I adore in that first chapter, but there's also quite a bit that feels wrong. Now that I have a better idea of who Bobbie and Galatea are, I believe I need to go back to the drawing board. That means treating the original first chapter as a rough draft or concept art. I'm going to spend time re-imagining Quean Bee. When I have a solid idea, I'll present it to you.

So far, I believe Bee should be more charismatic and confident which means reinventing her backstory. Galatea needs to be playful and theatrical but sound less like an edgy teenager. I also want to experiment with more mechanics within the game to make it feel more engaging.
