I've actually made good progress this week. I didn't have a lot else to do so I spent a lot more time working than I thought I would. The second scene is basically like four different scenes all mashed together so it's going to take a little more time than most. It's going to be the Madds Medusa scene. 

There is so much fun stuff coming up in this chapter. I'm psyched to work on it. I know I'm supposed to be on vacation this month, but writing this kind of is a vacation for me. Do what you love and you'll never work a day in your life, right?

The holidays are going to pump the breaks on progress though. I won't have another progress report for you guys until next year. I'm still waiting on Riam, my coder, to finishing reworking The Judas Ghost. I'll just keep working on OtM until that's done, so no time wasted.

Suzi is going to sneak up and scare MC. "Rawr!" She's so freakin' adorbs.

The poll results were very clear. Everyone loves Jenny. I'm going to make sure she gets at least one scene per release moving forward. In the meantime, I'm going to try to do a custom render for her shortly.

what kinds of things do you manage in code ? aren't all these novels a simple case of a series of images and animations, with some conditions based on choices made by the user, all of this can be described in a simple JSON document, no code required

i would write some code, the same for all novels, and then describe each novel in a document

Pro tip: Even if you enjoy your work, you should take a well deserved break. Good to turn off sometimes man.

We're working on a game with more mechanics, free roam, currency to purchase things, a quest log, achievements, and more. It's a lot more complicated than a traditional kinetic novel. If you haven't tried it yet, we've actually released an early build of The Judas Ghost. You can find a copy of it in the pinned comment on my Patreon home page. It's going to have a significant rework, but the story will be essentially the same. There's a good amount of content already. It's worth trying.

Thanks for being prolific, I like your work. It's grown over time in scope; aMoB has way more going on that aPaT did in terms of plot. I haven't had the emotional fortitude to read the first OtM yet. I should, if only so I can see Suzi again. :)

OtM is going to be more trying emotionally, but also more rewarding in the end. I think you'll enjoy it. Also Suzi is going to be an actual love interest in OtM. This next release should be a lot of fun. Thanks for your support, Guy.
