had a self portrait date scheduled into my calendar this past friday.

when i woke up, getting in front of the camera was the last thing i wanted to do. 

but it was in my calendar. an appointment i had made the promise not to miss. an appointment for my wellbeing as important as the doctors or the dentist.

i am so grateful i pushed through the apprehension and sluggishness i felt that morning. there are some photos i am really happy with - and i can't wait to share more.
