Once again another inspiring, thoughtful, and relevant topic delivered in a straightforward, sincere, charming manner! Ollie, you're my hero and I appreciate you and the work you do so much! I'm a piano teacher and I'd like to someday give away my knowledge and learned skills via YouTube in a similar manner! You're doing a great job and I've shared your videos many times. Keep up the good work, cutie. Your hard work and underlying values for doing so are recognized and appreciated more than you know! :)

I don't think the question you've posed here is very controversial - I think most people would say it is good and/or right for the rich to help the poor. But what's the measure of that goodness or rightness? Everyone pays the fire department because it helps everyone when there is a group of people on call who specialize in making sure a fire in your place doesn't destroy everything in it and the town. Of course it benefits the poor to be helped by the rich, and it is a net negative for the rich to have higher taxes that go to the poor. But what if Einstein hadn't had the resources to properly bring his theories on nuclear physics and relativity to fruition? His enablement was obviously a benefit to society as a whole... that's got to be our measure, right? The place where the rising tide lifts all the boats?
