Here’s a scene in which Tobi goes to visit Grace’s home for a sleepover. He’s overdressed a little while she’s in her PJs. This is also our introduction to Grace’s dads - Keito and Bobbie Lambert-Fukuda. They are karate teachers and based on Ryu and Ken and they’ve just got back from work so haven’t had a chance to change.

Their loving family is meant to contrast Tobi’s lonely existence.
