Here's yet another mock cover for a book pitch. I've spoken about this a few times on here and usually called it Burden the Faerie Boy, but decided to try out a different, possibly more generic but probably more marketable title. Although I just found out this phrase isn't really known outside the UK and Ireland so who knows.

But this book is a fully on YA paranormal romance inspired by growing up in Glastonbury, Somerset, which is the home of much pagan and spiritualism beliefs. It's filled with faerie folklore, heartfelt confessions and some intriguing world-building and DeadEndia adjacent world-ending stakes. But ultimately, I wanted to write a love story at the forefront of a book, where I've usually had to make that just a side plot.

And so this, along with my Rewound Prince book and my Phantasmaporium book are all pitches I am working on. I'm not exactly sure which one the publisher will go for, but I hope to make them all one day.

This is lovely! I've never heard the phrase before but I quite like the title.

I would be so down for this one too, I'd love to learn more about the folklore and such!
