The Fifteenth Doctor (Patreon)

Well. I didn't think we'd be here so soon! I wanted to wait until the Ncuti Gatwa era was over before drawing my illustration for his run but I didn't expect to be drawing it now. It's hard to know what to feel at the moment as a Doctor Who fan. I actually quite liked the Reality War, but the cliffhanger regeneration ending with no sign of a new series on the horizon and the feeling that one of the most charming actors to play the role has had it cut short thanks largely to the streaming industry being so risk averse... idk. I feel weird.

Both of Ncuti's seasons are also a little weird in that they both had slightly weak openings, insane runs of great episodes in the middle and then finales which make everyone feel a bit deflated.

Ncuti feels like he'll go down similar to Colin Baker, Paul McGann and maybe even Jo Martin where we really feel like we didn't get enough but hopefully once he's had a wonderful career elsewhere he might find his way back for some Big Finish or a special or two.
