Since I’m a New Yorker, my first thought regarding the destroyed building was that it was Pennsylvania Station (known by locals as Penn Station), an eyesore built on the site of one was of the most beautiful train stations ever built in this country that had been ripped down in a senseless act of “urban renewal.” So it’s not something I’d miss, really.
