DeadEndia: Meet the Demon Kings (Patreon)

Between each chapter of DeadEndia 2, there will be little character bios for which I've drawn official images for. Here are the Demon Kings, the primary antagonists of DeadEndia 2. Despite them appearing first at the end of Book 1, their imagery has been threaded throughout the series subtly. 

Unfortunately, there isn't much time to go into their backstory, so here's a little bit about each one.

KING BAAL, Chieftan of Calamity, is ruler of Plane 11, Gagen. He is the commander of the demon armies. His secondary heads are caused by a spell, dividing his mind so that he focus better on strategy. Sometimes when his secondary heads are asleep, it is because they are psychically ruling other armies, or possessing suits of armour that he can command into battle. His tactic of invasion is brute force.

KING ZAGAN, Chieftan of Patience, is the ruler of Plane 7, Bathmos. As a young girl, she was chosen as a sacrifice to the ruling vampire family of her plane. Assuming she'd be killed, she was instead sired into their ranks as a vampire. However, horrified by the system, she took command and killed the rest of the family and freed her childhood village from their control.  Her tactic of invasion is assimilation and subtle.

KING PAIMON, Chieftan of Knowledge, is the ruler of Plane 12, Dudael. However, Paimon was once a human. She was a witch who was tortured in an iron maiden. However, she summoned the demon Temeluchus to save her, who in turn changed the iron maiden into a suit of armour - a weapon with which she could torture her enemies with. This has lead to her hatred of humanity and has made it her goal to invade Earth. Her tactic of invasion is through using an understanding of her enemy to make them destroy themselves.
