Baal: We all lived as one in the Early Chaos. Demon, angel, human, it didn't matter back then. It was peaceful. We were happy. Until... Tartarus emerged. He desired to rule over all. He desired to conquer all. He tore apart the peace that had lasted for centuries in but a few nights. He divided us. His loyal demons versus the angels and humans. In an attempt to isolate Tartarus and his forces, the Divine, once a normal angel used their magic to divide the One United Plane into 3 worlds: Echoss, Bathmos and Earth.

If you ever decided to write a prequel to Deadendia that takes place in the Early Chaos and details the rise of Tartarus and the Divine, I would read it.
