Rhythm Academy - Solo (Patreon)

So here is the protagonist / player character of Rhythm Acadamy. Meet Solo!

This artwork is by Zachary Sterling! An absolute dreamboat who has a few books out right now and was one of the original location designers on Dead End before we even got the greenlight. Go support him!

Anyway, as Solo you can choose pronouns but their appearance basically stays the same regardless of what you pick. You will be able to customise them too but I wanted to basically fulfil the promise that Link in Zelda feels like he should be delivering.

Solo was kicked out their last high school for rebellious antics but one teacher saw the musical potential in them and managed to pull strings to get them a scholarship at Rhythm Academy. And while they definitely have skill, the rest of the students see Solo as a no good punk.

As you play the game, you'll either live up to that reputation or subvert expectations. Every choice you make is either Righteous or Rebellious, and whichever reputation you get will inform what sort of fanbase your band has, what venues you can play at and what rival bands you face.
