In this film about surrogacy and LGBT issues, Hotta Mayu, in her first leading role in a drama, passionately plays the sensitive protagonist Ejima Tamaki, who decides to become pregnant and give birth as a surrogate mother for her gay brother.

SYNOPSIS

Ejima Tamaki, single and working as an architect at a construction company, decides to become a surrogate mother (=surrogacy) for her homosexual brother, Ejima Satoshi. When she was four months pregnant, she told her parents about the pregnancy as an after-the-fact report. "It's Satoshi's child," she says, and her parents are distraught, and her father punched Satoshi. Then, for the first time, Satoshi confesses, "I'm gay!", she explains that she is going to be the surrogate mother of their child, using the sperm of her brother's partner, Mizuno Keito, and her own egg. Her mother, who has always loved her brother since he was a child and has always been overly disgusted with her femininity, refuses to understand her, and her rebellion grows even stronger.

The siblings go to the obstetrics and gynecology clinic where the brother's ex-girlfriend, Nishioka Mayu, works as a doctor. At first, Mayu is confused when her ex-boyfriend tells her that her sister is pregnant with his boyfriend's child, but she understands his way of life and supports them. However, the "mother's name" column in the maternity health record book remains blank... Satoshi, on the other hand, is worried about his sister's psychological burden when she delivers the child and is worried about awakening her maternal instincts.

Tamaki continues to work. She sometimes feels frustrated when she is at odds with her male coworkers, especially Kamiya Akira, but her colleague Noike Koshiro understands her and looks out for her. Nine months into her pregnancy, Tamaki collapses from an imminent premature birth and is hospitalized...
