Takashi Yamazaki, director of "Always: Sunset on Third Street," has adapted the popular children's story series "Ghost Book" into a live-action film.

A mysterious ghost appears at the bedside of sleeping children and whispers, "Do you want your wish to come true?" Itsuki and his friends, who have a wish they really want to fulfill, are guided by a ghost who is the talk of the school to search for the "Ghost Book". Though they get the illustrated book in a labyrinth in a secondhand bookstore with a mysterious owner, when they leave the store, they find themselves in a completely unfamiliar world. With the help of Zukanbo, who knows the secret of the illustrated book, Itsuki and his friends face a deadly trial against the ghosts... Itsuki is played by Kairi Jō of "The Promised Neverland" and "Shoplifters", Yui Aragaki as Teacher Yoko, a substitute teacher who goes on adventures with the children, and Ryunosuke Kamiki as the mysterious secondhand bookstore owner who holds the key to the story.
