Dark Anime Eyes - Mod Preview (Patreon)
Content
Hey everyone, hope you had a good weekend! I'm here with the first update for this week! Yes, it's another eye set. I make alot of these, I know. They're easy to make, and I have fun designing things.
This set is meant to have an anime style to it. And I think it turned out pretty good! I did 6 colours, 6 different eye designs, and then 2 versions of the entire mod. One version is for Black Sclera, like in the mod page photos I took, and then one version with Human Sclera.
So there's a full eye set and a bunch of options; meaning there should be a design for everyone in this set!
This will be a public Nexus release, but this lengthy preview will be exclusive to Patreon.
Like 99% of my mods, these eyes were drawn/painted by me, by hand; I use Procreate on an iPad Pro. The colours I chose are meant to fit a darker/evil aesthetic. But they are all still extremely saturated and vibrant.
This means they stand out, especially if you go for the version of the mod that has Black Sclera.
Like all my eye mods, I also did Custom UI Icons for this mod:
Honestly, I really like how the Icons turned out. They look really cool, but sticking to Black and Red for the icons means that the eyes still stand out. You can see I arranged the eyes a little differently this time. I think this was a good choice.
There was initially going to be just 36 eyes, but leaving 3 out really bugged me. So I ended up just doing 3 extra colour variants of the first eye design.
Here's a look at the Banner for the Nexus mod page:
And here's a look at the other screenshots I took/edited for the mod page:
The mod page photos are understated compared to some of my recent mods. This was a deliberate choice on my part; as i spent so much time drawing/colouring the eyes, I really wanted the Eyes themselves to be the focus of my shots. And I think I succeeded, for the most part; I feel like your gaze is really drawn to the eyes.
I'm not sure when I'll be releasing this mod, as I have 10 or more mods pretty much ready to go, but I wanted to provide a preview anyway as I liked how it all came together.
Hope you can all look forward to the release of this mod, and my many other projects!
