Mod Commissions - Ideas for future Opening (Patreon)

Hey everyone! I will have another WIP for you all very soon! But right now I am lucky to be busy with several commission requests; which has made me think seriously about Commissions.

At the moment, there is an inactive $25 tier. I was intending for this to be a way to reserve a spot, with that month's payment working as the deposit for the commission. However I am wondering if that is the most efficient way to do this, and will likely get rid of the tier.

Especially as it is a decent chunk of money to go out of someone's account if they forget they're subscribed.

Going forward, I think the best solution is simply to post every month or every other month about open commissions; I can pin the post so everyone can see it. The slots would be given out on a first come, first served type of situation. I would then update the pinned post so people can see if any slots are open.

Since I usually tend to open between 1-3 slots at a time, and spend around 2 weeks on a commission, I feel like this system would work pretty well.

At the moment it is potentially going to be a while before I open commissions again. At the moment I am very pleased to say that despite them not being officially open, I have had 5 different people contact me about commissions. I do intend to fulfill those, I've contacted everyone who has asked; so don't worry if you are one of those folks and are seeing this post.

It's genuinely amazing that I have had so much interest in commissions. 

So to make a long story short, the people who recently contacted me about commissions? I am going to do my best to work with all of them. I'm already working on one officially, and it's a super fun project. Then when all these folks are taken care of, I will likely take a commissions break for a couple weeks to prevent burnout.

After that, I can hopefully officially open my commissions, and work with more of you amazing folks.
