Building a wooden escalator, timelapse - Patreon Exclusive (Patreon)

For our recent video about escalators, writer Darius put together a wooden model of an escalator and attached a motor to make it functional. Unfortunately this didn't make the final cut, so we thought we'd turn it into a timelapse and share it here instead. As a disclaimer this is not how escalators work and it's unlikely anyone manufactured this early design, but we found it fun and worth sharing! We hope this aids in your understanding of the mechanics behind escalators and you enjoy this extra bonus content!
