About Patreon's App (Patreon)

Hey all, it's SatsumaLord here; just wanted people to be aware that Patreon will be doing an update some point in November, wherein you'll basically be charged more to pledge to someone's Patreon, if you happen to be pledging through the Patreon app on your phone.

So to avoid that, if you want to pledge to someone's Patreon page, be sure to do it through your regular web browser, rather than the Patreon app; that way, you're not being charged extra for the same rewards (since from what I can tell, by pledging to someone through the Patreon app, Apple iOS is applying a fee to your Patreon pledge, therefore charging you more for the same rewards as someone who pledged through a web browser).

In addition, I myself opted out of their update until November of 2025, so because of that, it sounds like I won't appear in the Patreon app anyway; so yeah, if you want to pledge to my Patreon page, be sure to do it through your regular web browser.

Anyway, just wanted people to be aware of that kind of thing, and I hope that you're all doing well. =3
