I am so glad you finally watched this. Hellboy 2 is even better. Hellboy 3 is a reboot and it is terrible.

Hellboy reboot is actually not bad but it will always be unfavourably compared to the original movies which are classics. If Ron Perlman's Hellboy didn't exist the David Harbour version would be well liked I reckon.

Guillermo is a great director, but for some reason I could never quite connect with the characters in this film. I like The Orphanage, Pan's Labyrinth, and Pacific Rim much more. I also was just reminded he did Mimic and Splice, which are quite interesting movies.
