There is a main difference between Sansa and Margaery Tyrell - Sansa wanted to be a queen, Margaery wanted to be The Queen. One of them is childish and naive, the other one is smart and is playing a game of thrones.

I am pretty sure the mountain killed the prisoners in harrenhal, when he fled before the approaching stark army. Before Tywin arrived there he was killing them for fun, why would he keep them alive after Tywin left again. Arias friend just killed the guards in the night. Actually I even found a wiki link that confirms it https://gameofthrones.fandom.com/wiki/Harrenhal (see in section Season 3)
