maybe you guys shouldn't talk while the movie is playing

It's cool that your reactions are on less popular movies! So much more interesting than Marvel (personal opinion). A nice movie is "The Man Without a Face" first movie directed by Mel Gibson (good movie). Happy new year to all the team! (from France)

Josh

My favorite baseball team ! Live in Lafayette , about 15 minutes from Oakland Coliseum(stadium) , and about 25 minutes from San Francisco...depending on Bay Bridge traffic. I remember this season like it was yesterday in 2002 . Went to couple games that year

2026-09-18 13:00 An incredible film that is such a fresh change up after so much Disney/Marvel & other super mainstream stuff. Appreciate it, as always! There are a handful of masterpieces that came out in the early to mid 2010s that just went under the radar for most people, (or were seen but not given enough credit/respect); Moneyball is one of them. “Whiplash” (2013) is definitely one of the top 10 American films made in the last decade, and it’s a movie that ANY member of the Homies family would absolutely enjoy watching. Cheers.

South San Francisco native here, (so…go Giants lol). But I’ve been to the Coliseum several times obviously, (hard to grow up here and not go there at least a dozen times, you know?). I was young at the time, but I still remember the 1989 Earthquake during the Giants/A’s World Series game that was being played at Candlestick Park. One of the scariest moments of my life, (and I was like 5 years old). Cheers to a fellow Bay Area native. WE OUT HERE.

2026-09-18 13:00 If they watch ANY other Gibson movie, it should 100% be, “Dragged Across Concrete.” One of the better crime films of last few years & every single movie that S. Craig Zahler writes/directs is a freaking masterpiece.

Nice 👍 ! Yeah I think everyone that lives in the Bay has been to A's game at least once , especially when tickets are so cheap. I was 3 when Battle of Bay series happened. I remember my family excited for the game , and then shaking , and my dad picking me up and running me outside with the rest of fam. That's about most I remember when it happened. I actually lived in San Francisco for about 5 years . I lived by Hieght & Ashbury lol , on Masonic Ave & McAllister St. Right next to Fulton St. I moved back to the East Bay becuz SF is just to expensive. I mean the whole Bay Area is , but SF to SJ is ridiculous. I'm sure u know that lol.. Big Tech will do that to an area

Yoooo it sounds like we’re the same person pretty much. Agree w/ you about the Bay getting taken over in last 15-25 years by big Tech and all that. But I have some family plus my best friend (who is basically family, I consider her my sister if that makes sense) who still live in south city & in The City (SOMA). I left for college & then went even further across country for grad school – so I was gone for ~10 years before I moved back here. (Of course I was on the other side of the country for grad school during ALL THREE of the SF Giants World Series wins in 2010, 2012, and 2014). Anyway, I know this place will keep changing and getting more expensive, but it’ll always be the home for ppl like us, our folks, and others who were here way before we all had internet and cell phones lol. Take care & I’m sure you’ll see me posting on here every now and again haha. Cheers.

Yes please, Moneyball was the reason I joined Patreon support. Something other than superhero movies. There are a lot of gems out there other than special effects spectacles. You guys are great at movies that touch the heart or which compel the viewer to invest in the characters, Play to your strength. Good luck.

Question: Are you guys limited to Netflix or some other streaming service? Some recommendations: Crime thriller Jennifer 8 (available on YouTube) Big Country (Western 1958 available on Dailynotion), Waking Ned Devine (on Hulu Plus) Check out the online trailers for these movies to see if they are the kinds of movies you're interested in. Likewise, let me know if you rather choose the movies yourself, thank you (me) very much.
