Great movie and great reaction! Interesting facts: the boy who played Chris chambers (the best friend who is stabbed as an adult) his real name was River Phoenix. He was the older brother of Joaquin Phoenix ( the Joker) but he died of an overdose at the age of 23. It's a tragic story for such a young talent.

Earth Angel

Nice coming of age film thank you

Earth Angel

Shame about River Phoenix he would of been a big star

Haskell

The fact River Phoenix the actor who plays Chris, died so young makes this even more heartbreaking.

Dear Homies....PLEASE have a box of tissues next to the couch at all times for Ellie ( and also Viki ). We know she is going to cry at any sad moment.

You should check out the Movie My Girl from 1991. It's a Romance/Drama with Macaulay Culkin, who's played the little Boy in the Home Alone Movies. Also a another Great Movie is Seven Years in Tibet from 1997 with Brad Pitt, it's a Drama/Adventure Movie and I'm think, you gonna like these Movies.

Paul Rich

I thought the exact same thing. I used to frequent the clubs on Sunset Strip in Hollywood but never went into The Viper Room where he overdosed. A tragic twist of irony.
