2026-09-18 12:00 The thing about this movie that creeps me out is even though it is totally over the top, it seems all too real. Think about it: a megacorporate big tech billionaire, obsessed with environmentalism, with a God complex and big ideas about how the world should work, invents a microchip and a phone app that controls people's minds and can kill them with a push of a button...it all sounds a little eerily familiar, don't you think?

No, a microchip controlling peoples minds that could be in a phone is insanely unrealistic to anyone with a common understanding that mind control is bullshit and any damn clue how a phone works, plus they're killed with a bomb implant, that's got nothing to do with the phone or mind control.
