So, I'm new to this patreon, maybe someone can give me an answer. They did a movie poll a few weeks back and then they announced the winners of the movie poll. Are they going to watch all the movie winners? Because I noticed that they're watching movies which are not on the movie winners list.

J.raza

Ok, but do they usually watch all the movies which are the winners from the poll?

Malachi Reacts

No, they usually watch the 10 most voted movies in the poll but they sometimes just watch the movies that are in the poll which is annoying to some people

J.raza

Wow, so out of the 25 winners from the poll, they will watch 10 with the highest votes? So they won't watch all the 25 winners?

Jeff I.

J.raza, the poll is just the movies that 'won' enough likes in the movie suggestion thread to be in the poll at all. They'll then usually watch the top 10 or so voted movies in the poll.

J.raza

Thanks for the responses guys, it's just disappointing to know that even if my movie suggestion won in the poll, they still probably won't watch it. Seems pointless to me now...contemplating ending my subscription..

S2497

I want them to react to Karate Kid 2010. Didn’t that one win?

RJ

I think that is the first time that Michelle started to cry before Ellie....

MichaelBillyButcher2000

And still waiting for Michelle, Lia, and Viki to watch the Karate Kid Part II.

Great reaction video ladies. You can actually visit that field today and the MLB actually has played a few games there... Keep up the awesome videos Homies!!! ❤️❤️❤️

Ryan Liechty

Ahh I’m so glad you ladies reacted to this, haven’t seen this in so long and loved re-experiencing it with you! Lovely reactions as always Ellie and Mich!!❤️❤️

S2497

I’ve visited the field. It’s cool. Idk if it’s still there, but when I went to the field with my parents, there was a set a bleachers that had the words "Ray Loves Annie" engraved into it. Behind home plate there’s a table with a guest book to sign. I saw that there was people who came from England to see the field

Someone PLEASE tell Ellie and Michelle that Terrance Mann(James Earl Jones) is both Darth Vader and Mufasa! I don't think they know that they already know his smooth and velvety voice from more than just Coming to America. Cool reaction. I can relate to what Michelle said about not being able to get to know my grandmother as an adult, in fact both of my grandmothers. One grandmother died before I turned 10, and the other passed away but I wish I had visited her more, and I only started to get to know her as an adult as her mental health was failing before she passed away. it was a time of great stress, so unfortunately I only have vague memories of that time. Both of my grandfathers died before I was born and my father died when I was 13. I had a good amount of years to know my stepdad and luckily my mom's still alive that I've had MANY years to know too well all with her in good health. I very much wish I could have a game of catch with both my father after I had a chance to mature and understand him more, and with my stepdad now. Now both are gone.

Gary Slator

You're most definitely not alone there, my friend.

Gary Slator

There's something particularly moving, and particularly genuine, how a deeper meaning of this film struck Mish so hard towards the end; a sincere reaction from the heart that makes both of our Homies so compelling.

I’m really sick and tired of people consistently complaining about the content they post! If you’re not happy with it, unsubscribe (as much as I hate to see them lose patrons) don’t fill their comments with disrespectful and rude comments, I see it way too often! These ladies work very hard at what they do and they can only do so much, they are doing their best and they do a great job at it! Been a patron for 5 months and I am still more than happy with the content they post! These beautiful ladies do an amazing job and don’t deserve this disrespect! Please be respectful to them and others who do like their content (myself included) or don’t comment at all, that simple, all I ask!

J.raza

Please tell me exactly where in my previous posts I was even a little bit disrespectful? You are exaggerating things, and too you sir I will be disrespectful, you are a MORON!! As I was saying in my posts, I am a new member, so I don't know how all their process works with the movie polls and all. I have just been asking questions in my posts to try to figure it all out, that's all. As with any other subscription you join, you have to try it out and if it doesn't function the way you would like, you simply unsubscribe. After I learned how their process works, by some good people who answered my queries, good people unlike you, I just mentioned I might unsubscribe? This is in no way disrespectful to the girls. The only person being disrespectful to the girls is you, by posting such a hate-filled negative comment towards me!!

J.raza

I feel you might be a little young, so let me elaborate more for you, Mr. Ryan Liechty. When I say , "I might unsubscribe" in my posts, I'm actually giving the girls some constructive criticism, which might end up helping them improve their account because they will make modifications to the way they do things on their platform. This will in the future help them retain more subscribers, because as you've read in the posts there are many others who feel the same way as me about how they handle the movie polls. So what you didn't realize is that I was trying to get the girls attention to possibly have them revisit their process of how they handle the movie polls, and make it more pleasing to the majority of their subscribers. Which in turn will help them retain more members!! Get it, Mr. Ryan LIE chty?

Ryan Liechty

I wasn’t taking you specifically, I was speaking in general I’ve seen comments on many posts in the past with people complaining, I realize it seems I was more coming at you and that’s my bad. I’ve seen comments on other posts where people have clearly been disrespectful and that’s what I was trying to getting at, was not coming coming after you so I apologize for it coming off that way

Ryan Liechty

I would never intentionally be disrespectful to the girls or patrons like you, again I apologize for seemingly coming after you, especially for you being a new patron and not really knowing how it works, that wasn’t right of me. I know someone kinda told you this but they’ll have us suggest movies every little while and we’ll vote on which ones we want to see the most, they’ll then create a poll for the 25 most liked comments age we’ll vote on those. From there the ones with the most likes get a reaction, sometimes they’ll react to others that may not have as many votes, but they do stick to their polls really well. I’m sorry if I came off disrespectful towards you, re reading my comment I now see why it seems that way!

J.raza

Hello Ryan, I appreciate your apology, yes you replied to my comment specifically so I thought your comment was directed at me. All is well, no harm done, we are all people and as you know when you get angry you say a lot of things that you don't nessasarly mean. I apologize for saying you are a moron, I don't know you and you don't know me, so I can't really say something like that towards you! Thanks for letting me know how these girls do things, I think I have a good understanding now. Hey, we're all here because we really enjoy watching these girls react to movies, I think these girls are genuinely kind hearted and I love seeing their hearts as they react to things! I think you would agree to that, take care and I'll see you in the comments.

Squ33ky

Didnt you just tell them? ;}

There is nothing more Americana than Field of Dreams. Baseball. A corn field and farm house (my own mom grew up on a farm with corn fields.) So I was eagerly awaiting the girls reaction to this film knowing how sentimental they are. True romanticists. When I saw this film in the theater I never saw so many grown men tear up as did I. "Hey dad? Wanna have a catch?" "Yes son. I'd like that very much." Another great baseball film starring Kevin Coster is Bull Durham, a romantic comedy really. Two players fighter over the same girl in the minor leagues.

J.raza

Hi guys, can someone explain to me why they have removed the movie "leon" from their database of reactions. I watched the "leon" reaction a few days ago and now it's no longer there? How come....???

John L

It's probably due to copyright issues which happens from time to time since they have removed all 3 reactions to it.

J.raza

Ok, thanks.

Jo Se

Anchorman react? :)

S2497

When I watched this movie as a kid, I thought it would’ve been funny if Ray had asked Shoeless Joe to “come over here" when it’s revealed that Mark and the other family members can’t see the players, and asked Joe to hit Mark with the bat to see if Mark would feel anything, or if the bat would go through him because he can’t see the players. That would’ve been hilarious to see.

The corn field is signficant as this is s film is awash in Americana -- the cultural soul of America. It was corn that the native Americans offered to the starving Pilgrims who were taught how to plant it, a native American crop. The pleasure of watching the Homies girls react to it is this. They don't understand why it is in the pantheon of iconic American films like The Wizard of Oz. The farm. America grew west as an agrarian society. I wish I coud post pics here of my family farm on mom's side. I live in L.A. but it's still the family farm with corn fields and a white farm house. The girls' little fantasy and they would love seeing it. My late uncles also played baseball on the farm. But the girls slowly grew to understand in the end why this is such a classic. "If you build it he will come". A second chance to make things right with his father. I wish I could bring my own father back. We played catch with tennis rackets. And they cried just as every son did when first seeing it in the theater or streaming online.
