Patreon Content Access Changes | May 2025 (Patreon)

With the recent issues regarding MEGA Uploader, and the general safety of objectionable art sharing spaces on social media, I will be changing how the weekly and monthly content is shared to avoid any further interruptions or issues.

Starting at the beginning of May, the following changes will be occurring:

• The Bronze Demon Tier will be changed to the Just-the-Tip Tier. All content will be available on the Silver Tier or above. Silver Tier pricing will not change.

• The (current) Just-the-Tip Tier will be raised to $5 (from $2). This Tier will now grant access to this server and more exclusive polls and discussions that I won't be posting on Patreon.

• Weekly art packs will be uploaded to Discord. Individual pieces will no longer be uploaded to MEGA or similar servers. Instead, once a month is complete, the .zip of the content will be uploaded to MEGA (or similar services) for archive access, without the ability to view the content online until downloaded and unzipped.

Reasoning behind some of these changes:

• About 80% of patrons are on the Silver Tier or above. Compiling content for all instead of individual levels will save on server space, aid ease of access, and ease confusion of what is on each Tier. This will also help sustain the Silver Tier at $10, without any worry about raising the price for the foreseeable future.

• Make the Patreon section of the Discord server more prominent to move discussion away from 3rd party sites and drive more engagement as a community rather than a bulletin board.

• Hosting .zip on MEGA or other sites rather than individual files lowers the chance of take-downs or terminations, as well as aid in the general safety of the content in an archive, where it may be lost or removed on sites such as Twitter, Bluesky, or others in the future.

What does this mean for me?

• If you are on the Silver Tier or above: nothing will change. You will still receive access to the content.

• If you are on the Bronze Tier: the name of your subscription will change from "Bronze Demon Tier" to "Just-the-Tip-Tier", to adhere to the changes above. You will still have access to the Discord server (and the benefits that come with it), but your title will change. You will no longer be able to access the new monthly content.

• If you are on the (current) Just-the-Tip Tier: you subscription tier will be removed, and you need to subscribe at the new $5 tier (or above) to regain access to the Discord and content.

I apologize for any confusion or issues this may result in, but these changes will help make the content access easier for everyone through the Discord, and help protect the content and archives that are stored on the MEGA server going forward. Thank you for all your support: I would not be able to create this art content without you.

Notes:
