The cover for Book 5 is finally finished!

I'm considering a few changes—like removing the cockroach, zooming in on Nat, and adjusting the layout. It's something I'll decide later based on what I like the most.

On the cover, you can see Lissandra, the black mana dagger, the dagger made from Saint Absolute’s flesh and bones, with the 5th floor Champion’s eye imbued into it. And more!

While it’s not 100% lore-accurate—Nat has too many arms, Flamebearer could be more damaged, and there are some other small details—I’m really happy with how it turned out!

P.S.: Plz, no spoilers.

I love it! If I had to make a suggestion I would ask to make Nat a little haggard looking or crazed, that would add a little suspense while also being more cannon.

Yeah cut out lissandra... she comes back anyway ;). In that case it would be more generic and fitting to more parts from the book. Also im not sure but the mana pointer finger seems too long compared with the other hand but maybe it's my imagination. The arm is really good, doesn't need flesh anyway.

The picture is great, I love it. I agree with the improvement points you wrote too. I could add that the mana crown could be a little more like a halo with a futuristic style. Also some runes on the left arm and the weapons.

Liss looks short and young on it. Like 16 yo. Not early 30s but perfect body. Great pic though. Forgot about the white hair.

I feel like the mana should look more solid. Both the arm and the crown. But i guess that just my headcannon. Nice artwork. .

I think the way she's holding the dagger is a little weird. I'd imagine she'd be holding it loosely, maybe even having the tip pointing down. That pose looks like she's trying to shank Nat.

When you look at this angle it doesn't prepare you for the complete *ss whoop trashing she gave him hahaha

I personally think, that if the cockroach is kept on the cover, that making her seem even more relaxed is a bit better foreshadowing. Also, nat being as serious as he looks here, with Liss being really calm and leaning back could signify that she is noooot worried at all

Yeah, I like your point about Liss being relaxed. When they fought, she was partially disciplining an unruly student and partially testing his abilities. I never got the impression she was fighting seriously even though Nat gave everything he had. It'd be hard to convey all that in a single picture but making her more casual would help.
