Just something for fun because I like drawing maps. The gray areas indicate industrial/non residential zones, while the greens are obviously parks/green space. I did a clean version and one I doodled on to give you a rough sense of where things are!

This would be cool to see updated in the future, or just more maps in general if you think any would be interesting to make. Have you ever considered doing floor plans of Madeline and/or Darcy’s houses?

Really fascinating, and done in a way that's completely reasonable. The zoning, street layouts, planning, all seem consistent with the real world. It really underlines the attention to detail in building this world.

Yikes, what a depressing city. Awesome map.

Interesting. I always thought was Beacon City was a stand-in for New York City, but this makes it look more like Chicago or something. Where is the Times Square-looking place from "City Trip" is located?

So cool!

I love maps, this has made me happy! I especially like the context from the doodled image

Seems like a pastiche of New York on one hand and Toronto on the other

Literally across a lake Emmy’s distance from her family, unless Emmy can get on a boat or a hovercraft to the other side, she still will end up roughly where Beacon city is (because they’re industry transports) and she’ll have to hitch a car or ride back to her neighborhood 🤔

Dr. Rodin

Unless she gets on some transport to the industries near Kingston according to the map, that is ALOT closer to Hawthornes than if she has to go thru Beacon city. 🤔

@Dominic Cellini I can definitely see the “Y” like intersection on the map where Beacon city is. Most likely these are some of the major streets connecting inward and outward from the city people use daily to drive to work like Madeline’s dad at Sterling tower.

And of course Hawthorne takes residence in one of the VERY few lands that has good chunks of greenery that are otherwise used as parks throughout towns/cities/other places. I can only surmise that with the rise of robot technology resources used to make them have not so positive impacts on the environment the more robots are made over the years. 🤔

Tolkien would be proud.

Also, Is this based on any real life geography where you put your fictional society, or is it actually your own land masses and stuff?
