Cobbly

Okay, this is a modern tragedy

Daz_Pingusta

Lmao this comic nails the overall experience of talking through a voice machine for customer service

ShotgunBlast848

The 2 things I like here: 1. Emmy looks like she’s about to lose her damn mind. 2. The square test is ironically being used to help bots, where in our world, they’re used for stopping bots 😂

Dr. Rodin

I love that robots can feel the same amount of stress dealing with DMVs/government buildings as Emmy’s eyes gets more rings & her usually perfect coift hair gets frazzled over time 🤣🥲🤣🥲

Anthony "A-Log" LoGatto

Proof positive that even robots can get annoyed over automated customer service. Poor Emmy...

Zane Duncan

Poor Emmy having to deal with bureaucracy. Also as bad as it is love her frowny face at the end

Carbon Coffee

The hair frizz is a nice touch! Is her hair synthetic?

So Emmy sits in line at approximately 5:37. "Goodies (Part 1)" takes place at 5 o'clock sharp, and Emmy only has 48 hours of battery life (and must have already spent at least half of it while she was at Sterling and then at the dump). Is this the same day? Has it only been 30 minutes since meeting Aunt Ginny?

There's something poetic about 2 AI having problems communicating, and one of them getting visibly exasperated :^)

These are the best panels of this comic. 😂😂😂 A Robot has a discussion with an A.I. And: “I want to talk to a human.” 🤣🤣🤣

Recently went to the county clerk's office... twice, so I totally relate to this. Laughed out loud.

Dr. Rodin

So that’s basically why seemingly alot of bots in the area here are homeless and have to divert to opportunities like working for people like Aunt Ginny to have a roof over their heads, the bureaucracy of this section of the government meant to service robots is not handling the out mode population effectively, not too unlike with human homelessness.

Dr. Rodin

Also I think despite the clerk bot making it pointless for Emmy to fill out the form for shelter, I think the bot will add her information to the system/queue for some protocol to contact Sterling because robots have specific needs to their models and it makes sense to contact the manufacturer to negotiate those needs / to be able send in parts needed to maintain a sheltered bot…
